the supposed dividing line between heaven and hell is just belief in god. And going to a deeper level doesn't mean you are a worse person, it just means you admit to more of a certain characteristic that Dante happened to find more distasteful than the others. Dante was not condoned by the church and most of his work was highly critical of the catholic church. Anyway if I do got to hell you can be sure before the drop I'm takin a swing at god (violent)
