PSO - Is there any way to copy your character to a memory card?

I wanted to take my RAmar over to a friend's place for some split-screen, but lo and behold I can only delete PSO files, not copy them.

I understand they don't want anyone to be able to dump characters onto a flash ROM and mess with them or whatever, and having the same character being played by two people at the same time would cause headaches. But there must be a way to prevent that stuff other than "your character is welded to your Xbox".

I mean, if I can copy my entire Live account, why the heck not this? Anyone know of a way to pull it off?

Offline game -> Move character.

yup. And don't forget to move him back at the end of your multiplayer game.
