Thread: United Game Artist Game

  1. United Game Artist Game

i remember a while back Mizuguchi said that they were working on a GameCube game.

has there any updates on the project since then? should be at E3. we'll see i guess.

anyways, if it's not bemani, it should be an amazing game.

  2. There haven't been any, and they were supposed to unveil it in march. I'm hoping they just decided to hold off til E3.

You've either never played Bemani or never played Space Channel 5.

  5. i just don't dig the bemani man. aside from the Space Channel 5 games, i think all the stuff that UGA has done is awesome.

easily one of Sega's Top 3 Teams.

i own the game remember? it was alright. i'd rather play that then any other bemani game. i just don't dig the genre.

  6. You're still brilliant.

What relation does UGA have to "Bemani" in any way, shape, or form? Your little comment is irrelevant.

Apart form the SC5 games, Rez is the only game they've ever made. And SC5-2 is like Rez's equal in my book.

um, i'd consider SC5 to be in the genre.

Just Mizuguchi. Most of the team went to Rosso. Kinda like how Naka worked on Phantasy Star, but most of the team is at Overworks.

And SC5 is a simon-says music and rythm game like Parappa, which is not the same genre as Bemani/Gitaroo Man/Pop'n'Music

well hey, Mizuguchi pretty much runs UGA right? im sure he's got the right idea when it comes to making games, so im extremely excited about anything the guy works on. working on Sega Rally, and Rez is quite a track record for me. Sega Rally would make it into my top 3 racing game series of all time i think. and Rez is easily one of my favorite games of all time.
so yeah, i look forward to the teams games for that one staff member alone.
