I thought the last 2 looked awesome when I first saw them.

I hate it when people say they don't like the look of something and some smart alec says oh well what were you expecting a hella polygon pusher and bullshit like that. There's a little word called style.

But thats not the point, I haven't seen it yet, it might look the bollox when its finished BUT 'those' pics don't wet the 'tite.

The pics in this thread shouldn't be used to judge the game because they are poor screen grabs of a low res movie. Oh, well. If you don't like it I won't lose any sleep over it.

My whole point to this, is that MKDD looks to carry on the tried and true Nintendo tradition of the Mario Kart series. I don't understand how people could be complainging about it's graphics yet say they loved the graphics of the first 2.

Lets be honest, Nintendo rarely drops the ball when it comes to their franchises- especially since those 1st party games are essentially why anyone ever played their N64s and GCNs (with a scant few exceptions).

In my eyes, Yoshi's Story was the only time Nintendo let me down.


Relax, Mario Kart will turn out just fine, just like Cel-da did.
