Umm...we don't have GS complete....

Over the course of the past few months, Sonic Team has been steadily working on a new Sonic game named Sonic Heroes. Unlike the Sonic Adventure series, Sonic Heroes seems to place an emphasis on action, much like the older Sonic the Hedgehog games. In the game, you can select from one of four teams--Team Chaotix, Team Rose, Team Dark, and Team Sonic. Unfortunately, we only got to see Team Sonic, which is made up of Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles.
These characters essentially follow each other throughout the entire level, so you can switch between them and make use of each character's special abilities. Tails is able to fly, so he can carry Sonic and Knuckles across great distances or reach platforms that would otherwise be inaccessible. Naturally, Sonic is the fastest of the group, and he also has a hurricane attack that he can use to defeat groups of enemies. Knuckles can glide, punch, and throw Sonic and Tails like projectiles.
There will be 14 stages in the game, each of which will pan out differently, depending on the team and path taken. There will also be different objectives that you will have to fulfill in order to successfully complete a level. There are plans to include multiplayer support as well. Sonic Heroes is scheduled for release later this year.

CRAB PEOPLE!!!! CRAB PEOPLE!!!! TASTE LIKE CRAB, TALK LIKE PEOPLE!!!
Whoa... that's kinda odd looking.
Some interesting gameplay mechanics in there... like Knuckles holding Sonic and Tails
Nice to see they've got a killer soundtrack in place already
Good find though, thanks Orta.
You don't need GSC. GS Basic works just fine. And your welcome. There are vids for Billy Hatcher, Vectorman, Otogoi, NBA 2k4, etc.

Sonic Heroes actually looks really stupid imo I mean, I'm sure the gameplay will be cool, but holy crap, is Knuckles using Sonic and Tails AS HIS FISTS!? And Sonic's Batmobile looks pretty frickin stupid too. It looks way slower than the Sonic Adventures too, but eh, as long as there's no Knuckles treasure hunting or manditory fishing, I'll be happy.
Oh, and Vectorman looks pretty damn good. Especially for a level created specifically for E3. Also, I CAN'T WAIT, for Billy Hatcher! That game looks wonderful, way better than Sonic Heroes imo. It looks like Naka is finally going to try a slower paced 3D platformer, and the music is great
I get what you mean . The concept is a little "out there," but it looks like a faster-paced, funner game that SA2 to me

Oh, and MagicBox posted this:
Woo, new Clockwork Knight!- Sega is developing Super Monkey Ball 3: Banana Crazy for GameCube, the 3rd installment of the popular action game. This time the game will have LAN support, allowing 8 characters to battle over the GameCube LAN cable. The game will be released in Q1 2004.
- In addition, Sega's Overwork team is working on a new RPG for GameCube called Knight N' Knight, which is the sequel to Clockwork Knight for Sega Saturn.
And hey Orta, why don't you just turn this into the 'Sega game E3 discussion' thread
good idea
Billy Hatcher looks weird

Am gonna be the first to say it....
No more stupid fucking kart racing please, why can Sonic Team make a game without that in it. Although am not totally optimistic about this one, I cant say it looks that bad. I was looking forward to the 2 adventures more though...
