Nintendo unveiled an interesting new first-person shooter at its pre-E3 press conference Tuesday, from the makers of the Duke Nukem series. The game is quite similar to Atlus' DC first-person-slasher Maken X, in that you play a spirit that can possess the bodies of other characters, use their abilities to solve puzzles, or just see what cool weapons and other killing powers they have.

This game looks to take the ideas that made Maken X and put them into a more compelling, longer-lasting game. Although the art style was not as distinctive as the brilliantly designed Maken, Geist does show some promise.

Stay tuned for more details.
