Thread: George W. Bush and Tony Blair nominated for Nobel Peace Prize (no, seriously)

  1. I have to wonder what "labour" Tony's ever engaged in.

Hey, I won't deny it must have been hard work subverting that party's decades-old leftist platform. Nearly cost him his job, and it may still.

  3. Once again, I see leftists calling anyone/thing that they disagree with as being "evil". Thats especially nifty considering how you all cry about "open-mindedness" and "understanding". Please take your own advice.

And you right-wingers ain't no angels either...

I'm glad you're not generalizing, like those guys.

  5. Didn't realize they were swedish, but I knew there were only a few people voting. However, I was speaking in the collective sense with the bush/blair loving.

  6. If A Beautiful Mind taught me anything, its that... doesn't the Nobel Committee like not say who they are considering for the prize (if you remember the movie the guy told Nash that they were making an exception for him)?

Im fairly sure that I or Pol Pot could be nominated for the award. That doesn't mean that we deserve it (well I do, but hey). Seriously, I dont know the nomination procedures for this prize but Im sure that the Committee would allow practically anyone to be nominated. That doesn't mean they are being considered, or will win.

Blame the doofus that nominated them, not the Nobel Committee.

  7. I'd move to the moon but I'm afraid they'd know I was American......
    haha

    this too.

    funny.

  8. I don't see what the fuss is all about.. If Yassir Arafat can win one, anyone can.. Case closed! Though, it would be a nice slap in the face to the rest of socialist Europe if they won - I'd get a kick out of it.

You jackasses who want to move, go for it. I hear there's some great new condos overlooking the Tigris under construction.

You say that like it was a bad thing. ^_^

Maybe Castro should win the Peace Prize...?

I want to see the articles that make this true. Don't tell me you're just drawing conclusions based on personal observations, or trying to connect obscure dots from one article to the next? There's gotta be something out there that plainly details the exact things you say and why they would say it - it's not like you've stumbled onto something that rest of the world is blind to.

    Devil's Advocate,
