Microsoft announced a new Xbox 3D action game called Magatama, which is developed by the Kawai Hiroshi, the leading programmer of Square's Final Fantasy VII and IX

is interesting.

Slight blow for Xbox gamers this morning, with news that due to Magatama's primarily Japanese orientation, Microsoft has announced that the game will only be released in Japan come November 20. No stateside (or European, for that matter) release is currently scheduled. If any further comments or announcements (or corrections, even) are made in regards to Magatama we'll be sure to post them.

Yeah, Ive been eyeing this game since its announcement. I think it looks fantastic. They had better damn well release this in other regions. This and Phantom Dust too.

This is really a shame that Microsoft isn't bringing this to U.S. gamers.

And if they do the same thing with Phantom Dust (which doesn't look as good as this does IMO, Panzer Dragoon director or not), I'll be pretty upset.
