    He's dead. I'm sure (or at least, I hope) that Akira wouldn't have let them get away with this.

  3. The Ingmar Bergman Collection: MANIACAL FPS SHOOTING ACTION!!111

    Yea and kubricks the shining doesnt have alot in common with stephen kings book.Does that mean the shining sucks cause its not faithful to the book? No to the contrary thats what makes it good, it is kubricks interpretation of the book not a carbon copy, if you want that read the book or watch the worthless miniseries.

    Yeah well, Kubrick did what he felt was right with the source material, this is a piece of shit cash in on a well known name.

    Kubrick = Art
    Dimps' Seven Samurai = heartless cash-in

    It is entirely possible to make a Seven Samurai game without throwing away the integrity of the movie. Hell, you could at least set it in the same time period.

  8. Seven Samurai is one of my all time favorite movies. That said, I have faith in the game. Seven Samurai was never about the setting, it was about the characters, thier struggles, and thier interactions with eachother.

    Now... shut up. To no one specific.
    A is for action

    But Kubrick's version of The Shining still retained the core elements of it's source material. This on the other hand only retains the name and abandons all other material pertinant to the license. This is a callouse raping of a what could have been a beautiful opus to his fathers genious. Instead of a true substantiative piece about seven samurai coming together for one common goal, we are treated to a Dynasty Warriors clone with futuristic samurai and evil cyber ninjas. Oh yeah, it takes a true connoisseur to appreciate the artfulness in which this game is executed.

  10. I want cyber Toshiro Mifune! Give him a lazer sword and jetpack!
