I'm sure I'll get the Cube and PS2 succesors, but I still haven't felt the urge to get an XBOX, so I probably wont get it's follow up. But to be totally honest, I don't think I could be happy with just one console, I mean I know it would be cheper to get just one, but then you would be missing out on all sorts of great exclusives.

gunvalkyrie4life, you can't complain about price drops in systems because when you bought them at their initial price, you got to play them before people who are just getting them now. that's the "reward" you get for buying them early. likewise, people can't complain about not being able to play games right away if they aren't willing to shell out the money for it (reasonably). it's a trade-off, and i'm sure you already know this. whether or not it's worth it is up to you.

Trade-off, damn it's been a while since I heard that word, economics was so long ago. It's a good point you raise though, I mean I got my GC and PS2 extremely late, I paid less (the PS2 was a gift but none the less) but there are alot of games that I missed out on because of it. now I'm trying to go back and catch up, but if I had the choice I wold have gladly paid more to play earlier.
