Funny story about this game. I got 45 hours in, all the way to the end, spent four hours traversing the last dungeon w/o a save point and the final boss killed me. So I couldn't even benefit from the experience I'd earned in the last dungeon. I was devastated. I literally put my head in my hands and cried. Then I immediately erased my save file so I'd never be tempted to try it again.
    Sig.

Haha, cool. I tell that story every chance I get. Any tale of a grown man crying over a videogame (and I was grown, 19 at least, in college) is a laugh-fest in my book. Only better that the fool of the yarn is none other than me. It would've been gay if I put it in my own sig so yeah, thanks.

  4. It is the journey that counts.

Did you like the game, though? I haven't gotten around to playing it yet, but it definitely looks interesting.

Persona? Nah, I wasn't really feeling it overall. Lots of cool things about it but they didn't gel into a fun game for me. I think it was mostly the battles that got me down. Worse than usual.

  6. Hmm, oh well. Still seems like a game worth playing.

Yeah, it probably is. Just don't go way out of your way tracking it down and don't expect too much.

  8. Arc the Lad 2 - so much...fighting...aaaaahhhh!

Arc the Lad 3 - Haven't even started. Decided to finish 2 first.

Xenogears - The beginning of the second disc bored me to tears.

Suikoden 3 - I'm finally on the last chapter, but it took long enough =|

Dragon Warrior 7 - Wait...I've put 20 hours into a game that can last 100+? *stabs eyes*

Final Fantasy 8 - So much wrong; I hated the battle system, the characters, the plot, etc. etc.

Vanguard Bandits - Bad dialogue + decent (but not great) battles = I don't care anymore.

Ogre Battle 64 - I put a good 20 hours in it to find that I barely started, and that my teams were laughable in the face of the new opposition.

Suikoden 2 - every time I try to play this, I stop caring for one reason or another.

Final Fantasy 10 - Borrowed it, rented it, but never bought it. Makes finishing up a more delicate matter than needed. That and the Omega Ruins raped me after I had spent hours leveling and learning tons of stuff. That kind of robbery is always discouraging.

Hero, Omega Dungeon is pretty easy, if you've gotten all the secret aeons before hand, plus throw on an item that eliminates all random encounters (since there's the set ones before you even get to Omega).

I mean, even my Mom beat FFX, cmon now
