  5. 10K ain't bad for first day. It'd be nice is SNK ported Metal Slug 3 to the DC. They could probably sell 10-15K.

    OK, I got 2K2 Friday. Well, it's better than 2K1, but it's still lacking. Sounds like someone bought a keyboard from Bestbuy to do the music. Backgrounds are improved over 2K1 but still feel look very static. Some of them show potential though like the windmills and lighting stages. I can't bitch too much though at least we got another DC game. A nice addition to my collection.

  6. Not bad but 2001 sold 16,000 it's first day. That's a bit of a dropoff.

    I'm a bit annoyed by the music in 2002, the volume seems much lower than the sound effects and there's no way to adjust it (that I can find).

  7. I was thinking the same thing. Sound effects are very loud in this one. Everything feel's a little slapped together and rushed. After 2K1 I'm not suprised sales are down, but 10K is still pretty good. I'm glad this Eoliths last KOF.

    What did 2K do for the first day sales?

  8. Yeah, 2k2 feels sadly rushed. Honestly, I like 2k1 one better since it had Foxy, I didn't have to endure any time attack mode to unlock Shingo, and a cool puzzle game. The music and backgrounds are still just plain bad, even if the character art is better for 2k2. The Orochi team is nice, but it's not enough.

  9. I hope that Playmore includes a remixed soundrack in the PS2 port of this game. Even so, I can at least tolerate the music this year. 2K1 sounded like random noises in a can.

    I don't know if it's possible for Playmore to "clean up" the graphics a bit in the PS2 port as well, but it sorely needs it. At least the backgrounds this year were MUCH better than last year's (not including the bonus ones).

    Still, I am liking 2K2 much more than 2K1.

  10. From what I've played of the Neo version, 2k2 is the best in the series. I'll buy this soon enough. Probably next month.
