The two (Bloodshot, Serenity) were basically made to go together, in the same series of artwork that I'm making. So the comparison is supposed to be made between the two
I use pens and prismacolor markers for most of my artwork. I do everything by hand, the only thing modified by the computer is the brightness/contrast to make it look a bit more like I want it to
Edit: Forgot that I also use selective gaussian blur to sharpen the edges and make the tones more even before I adjust the brightness/contrast.

It kind of reminds me of that Icicle Dreamcatcher type thing I fought on the Purple moon Continent in Skies of Arcadia (DC version)
