    At work today, one of the marketing guys was eating a pork steak with Grey Poupon mustard on it and it got me thinking, TNL needs a thread celebrating the wonders of man that are, "Condiments".

    Personally, my favorites are Heinz Ketchup, Famous Dave's Sweet 'n' Sassy BBQ Sauce and any brand of ranch sauce.

    Famous Dave's BBQ sauce is unrivaled, although I am quite sure that it is probably a regional thing, as they are based in Minnesota.


    Favorites? Personal concoctions?

  2. Tuna fish mixed in with a lot of pickle relish. High in protein, and I can't stomach it any other way. The relish is fairly high in sodium though...

    I suppose the one I would use most frequently, though, is mustard. Mustard on a nice spicy Polish sausage.

  3. Deli Mustard, aka Spicey Brown
    Vinegar, which for the most part isn't used as a condiment, but I love it on any kind of potatoe and spinach
    Ketsup, can't live without it
    And for the pinacle of condimenty goodness, my mother's "special BBQ sauce." Apricot preserves + A1 sauce. Try that the next time you have chicken on the grill! YUM-YUM!!!

    I have heard of cream cheese and jam but the thought of mayo and jelly makes my stomach churn.


    Most used condiments/sauces at my place are soy sauce, terriyaki, mayo, heinz ketchup, and maille dijon mustard. The occasional relish, french's mustard, curry paste, hp sauce, lea perrins, and bbq sauce are also used. Also a fan of Branston pickle. Can't get that here though.

    Had to go check my fridge to answer this one.

  9. Any type of BBQ sauce. It's the nectar of the god's.

    I always have to have my french fries with tons of pepper too. Too much salt isn't good though.

  10. Ketchup, I can't get enough of it. Seriously. I'm trying to diet, but if I'm with friends in a fast food joint, I'll always order some fries just so I can scarf down some of that red gold. I don't settle for packets either, most people get those small paper cups to put there ketchup in, but not me. I'll pile up a mound of ketchup on the corner of my tray and eat it all then go for seconds.
