you're right, of course. i wouldn't be a fan of cave if it wasn't for mame/raine. if only their other games received ports on par with dai-ou-jou.

How did DOJ sell? Well enough for Cave to see the incentive in porting new shooters to the PS2? Or were they crappity-crap, crap?

It sold about 18k in the first week, same as Ikaruga, which might seem like a failure to some.
It's pretty interesting that Ikaruga got pretty much the same numbers in the us, I'm not saying that Dai-ou-jou would sell 18k in the us but maybe Cave should broadening their view on the market.
