knock it off sl1p - bahn
I played Crazy Taxi GBA yesterday at my local import store, and all i have to say is "AAAGGGHHHHH MY EYES!!!!" ....seriously, what the hell was sega thinking when they made this game? the control is crap and frame rate is beyond horrible!
this game shouldnt have been made on the GBA, or atleast it would have been better to make it a top view game like the old Grand Theft Auto series!![]()

I was about to say that, but I was going to add, "like some other games with thier name on it, THQ made it." I couldn't however remember if it was Shinobi or Aletered Beast or something like that. I didn't care enough to find out so I left this alone.

I gotta hand it to you marwan, you're really on a hot streak.

I think Space Channel 5 and Jet Grind Radio are also "ported" to the GBA by the fine folks at THQ. That's right, "let's buy licenses of SEGA games NOBODY played on Dreamcast and port them over to the Gameboy Advance!! They'll sell like hotcakes."
Geez. I can run a better dev company while in a coma than these guys!!

Ironically, or sadly, THQ will probably make more money on the GBA releases of SC5 & JGR, than Sega did with the original games on the DC.Originally posted by BriannaHaskins

Jet Set Radio GBA was made by Vicarious Visions, I think. The Tony Hawk GBA guys. Supposedly it's one of the few decent games of the bunch.
I think the core reasoning behind the deal with THQ and Sega was most of the licenses were/are still valuable, since they had gotten exposure to the public during the DC's run. No one played them because people stopped buying Dreamcasts. If Jet Set were ported to the PS2, a good number of people outside the hardcore who remember the DC game might buy it.
Besides, GBA games require a ludicrously low print run. Even if you think a GBA game tanked, it still probably made money somewhere.
