Gungrave was just begging for an anime. Hopefully it'll last longer than the game and not end in 20 minutes.

"Gungrave TV Series
Red Entertainment's violent "assassin" style game of 2002 is becoming an anime series. Very little is known at the moment but Madhouse will be involved again and Yasuhirow Nightow is providing design work.
The original game followed "Beyond the Grave" as the anti-hero taking on a large crime syndicate and in the middle of a strange family affair. Revived thanks to Dr. T, Grave freed the doctor from the crime organization. Crime boss "Big Daddy" then vanished from the syndicate leaving the evil Harry MacDowell to take over. With MacDowell's dream realized, Big Daddy's wife Maria gave her daughter Mika Asagiri a pair of custom hand guns named "Cerberos" and a mission: deliver the guns to Grave so that he may assassinate Harry. Now Grave fights to protect the daughter of the woman he once loved and end MacDowell's reign over the syndicate."

"CY: In fact, I am! *Laughs* This month actually, in a couple of weeks, I'm going to work for Madhouse. I'll be working for them as an animation director for a project called Gungrave. As you may or may not know, Gungrave's a Playstation 2 game; it will be adapted to a television series, and I am supposed to be working on [the TV series.]"

Woah... I just bought the game two days ago... creepy...
Can't wait, though. The game had style, and I expect the anime to as well.
Yes, the series should be the evil twin of Trigun, with even more gunplayOriginally posted by Captain Vegetable
So long as the anime maintains the dirty, grity feel of the game, with it's dark lighting and seedy characters, I'm there.
omg TNL epics!
While watching the anime, there will be a skull with a meter around it in the top left? corner, and the number of kills in each combo he performs in the anime. IT will have style. Can't wait, though. The game had style, and I expect the anime to as well.
