No offense / don't mean to sound like a fanboy. but if you have a xbox / broadband connection you have no reason NOT to get xbox pso. I mean if you still enjoy the game and want to play with tnlers... bam! your set!
I can't believe this. My lvl 70 HUmar is gone. My lvl 20 FOmar is gone.
I hadn't played PSO in weeks, and it had been over a month since I've played online. Between the last time online and tonight, I made a great deal of progress, found rares that I was proud to have (A DelSaber Buster/Shield combo without trading/dupe/hacks), and was ready to get back online.
Hopped into one game and everyone was trading. Fine; I dumped a bunch of Cross Scars (easiest rare I've found) for a trade and bounced out. Couldn't find anyone from TNL (then again, I never have), so I jump into another game. Before my screen even loads it says I was disconnected. Not that that's ever happened to me on GC, but on DC PSO this kind of thing is no big deal.
Then the game says my file is corrupted, do I want to erase it?
No. It asks again. No. It asks again. No. And so on...
Over 100 hours wasted, and I think I'm done with PSO for good. I could never find anyone I knew, and after spending so much time on getting where I was (I don't know if you'd call my rares good, but they were always legit, and always found on my own, minus one Black Bar), I don't want to spend another 100+ hours just to have everything lost again.
Bah. Only thing now is to find out if anyone will buy it, and cancel my Hunter's License.

I bought the GC one before the XBox version was out, and I found a BBA for the GC. I was sure I had it made.
Paying over 100 (PSO + Live) and 8 bucks a month for a game I just burned out on doesn't sound ideal at the moment.

Don't take my word for it, but i recall reading a few places that said there is a way that sometimes brings back corrupt characters. You'll have to search around for it, but i'll see if i can find them.

Yea well I need a chance to rant, and maybe at the same time make you feel a bit better.
Corruption deffinatley sucks, there's no doubt about it. I took about a month long break, my characters where FOmar - level 156 HUmar - level 130 something RAmar - level 76 FOnewearl - level 60...
I come back on for my first time in about a month, and I hope in a game no big deal, then weather here starts to get nasty so I didn't want to lose anything if the power when off so I say my goodbyes and quit game. My game is saving and wouldn't you know it, my power goes out. Turn the game back on everything is gone, I lost all 4 characters, my guild card files and the 1200+ hours I've spent on the game since October.
Well, anyways, it's done and over. Started a new FOmar and HUmar already got them both up to around level 100, not bad for a weeks work I guess, but still it hurts losing 20 mil+ exp.
If anyone corrupts just hit me up via pm or email and I'll hook you up with anything I can by the way.
well, I started again. I don't think I'll do team-jumping anymore. Just a password game, and I'll give the pass to anyone here who still plays the GC ver.
At least it gives me incentive to try different classes. I have a lvl 8 RAmarl now, Lilith.
