well, i guess something like this was sort of expected. anyways, im really liking the direction that the series is going into for this one.

all i can hope for now is that Kojima goes out of his way to make this like the last hour of Rambo 2. or at the very least let you do the mudman trick, oh, and arrows with explosive tips.

That model looks pretty cool. I'm looking forward Snake Eater way more than Twin Snakes. Hopefully we will see more new pics soon.

With the improvements made to MGS in MGS2, I can see how you would expect the next installment to be even better, especially when it's not on the GameCube.

BTW, if that is a Metal Gear, it better transform. *Imagines Autobot Metal Gear*

Yoshi, While MGS2 was indeed pretty bad, the ACTION sequences were still good, and thats what I enjoyed in that game and I hope that action will be good as well in Snake Eater. And WHY would it being on Cube will make it magically better?

Being on the Cube doesn't make anything magically better. It also doesn't make anything magically kiddy or worse either.

Then I have no problems with it being on PS2. Cube can always get a remake 5 years later

During a slow period at work? Nope, I have nothing better to do. Also, I actually like Metal Gear quite a bit, just not MGS2's plotline.
