Oh yeah, give V-Rally 3 a try. I think it is Europe only, but GBA is region free. Cool rally game with amazing 3D graphics. I swear it is at least as smooth as some PS1 games.

I think that COTM looks much better than the other two, even with the weak animation of the main character. The colors are much richer and it just looks like it was drawn in higher rez. The music in COTM is in a totally different league from the other two, it's very good stuff. It's my favorite one on the GBA although I haven't finished AOS yet so that may change.

I just bought a GBA at Wal-Mart on a whim. I got Advance Wars 2 and Mega Man Zero. About to go play AW2 for the first time. Laters.

I just picked up Advance Wars 2 and Dungeons and Dragons Eye of the Beholder on the real cheap at Target. I picked up this game with the player, Sea Trader: Rise of Taipan and it kicks ass! It's like that old game Oregon Trail, only with pirates. So addictive. If I have Advance Wars 2, is there any reason to get the first one? I haven't gotten a chance to play the 2 games I picked up today yet, when I do I'll give my thoughts on them

I've been a bit interested in Sea Trader, but I can't find a single video of it on the 'net. Is there any graphical representation of your adventure in the game? I got the impression that the game was pretty much completely menu based, so that turned me off a bit, but I definitely enjoyed Oregon Trail, if it's like that. Anyway, about AW2, no, there's really no outstanding reason to get AW1 if you've got 2, but it's certainly a nice thing to have

Yes, Sea Trader is completely menu based. However, that's not to say it isn't graphically impressive. It looks like a comic book, very impressive hand drawn 2d art, tons of color. And it does have ship to ship sea battles which you control through issuing commands (like in a typical RPG). So yes, while it's menu based, it's packed with gameplay nonetheless in the form of strategy galore. Plus it's high score based and saves every high score permanently to the cart, so you can play the game over and over again forever, trying to improve your high score (and you probably will) I got it at FYE for 15 bucks then half off that on clearance, I'd definately pay a lot more for it though now that I know how good it is.

I'd rather use my nuts for bait in Piranha infested waters while being dosed by acid to my eyeballs than to play this game.

Don't forget to buy Street Fighter Alpha 3 on GBA if your hands can take it. Excellent port. I pretty much leave it in the cartridge slot because I play it all the time. Unlike GGX though, the AI doesn't suffer. Best handheld port of an arcade game evar!1

Oh yeah and get the new pokemon games.
