Smells like horseshit to me but for speculations sake I think I'd be down with that.
Personally, I just don't see it happening. The corperate cultures of each company are just too different, not to mention their entertainment goals. Besides, if Nintendo really wanted a gaint corperate sugar daddy to handle the console, they could just turn to Matsushitsa. And likewise, if Microsoft wanted a strong, influential software developer they'd find Sega much easier to work with. Microsoft & Nintendo together just doesn't have the same ring of truth to it...

Well that's like, your opinion, man.
How about something like this:Originally posted by kbuchanan
If it's true, I really don't know how to react.
Wow are you calling the Nintendo faithful confused babies?
I like the idea, because I like crazy things, but if you believe this is happening so soon, you might as well commit yourself because you are probably a fucking wackjob.

I hope Nintendo and Microsoft pair up and beat the shit out of Sony.
This is about as likely as Sega making games for Nintendo.
Oh wait....
You working at one store doesn't give you the means to pass this judgement. Gamecube is still #2, Globally, and just recently it has been pushing its software quite well, according to that NTSR or whatever, data.Originally posted by EvilMog007
So how many times will this rumor be brought back to life? Isnt this like the 3rd time now?
Anyways, I think it would be damn cool if they teamed up. Nintendo just doesnt have what it takes to compete with consoles anymore. I dont care what any of you say. I see the Cube get spanked in sales every single day I go to work. Hell, the software barely moves. Poor little thing. People still look at the Box and PS2 as free DVD players. Seriously, its a HUGE selling point for the average folks. Cube has been doing a little better now that we offer 3 free things with it.
1. Free demo disc
2. 1 of the 4 free games
3. Zelda Ocarina of Time. (yes, we have a SHITLOAD)
Gamecube hasn't done as well as it would've liked to, but it's not like Nintendo can't compete.
Obviously. It's such a big deal and so little of it, if any, is confirmed by anybody in either company.Originally posted by Tracer

Still, they are good for competition, I just don't want one for more than 100 dollars. If Nintendo goes fully budget only, they'll get a purchase from me.
I'd rather have Nintendo and Sony alone than anyone with MS.
