    - Nintendo developer Takeshi Kiyuna mentioned that the successor of GameBoy Advance SP will have a bigger screen, the resolution will be at least 300 x 200, in 260,000 colors

    300x200 is no great shakes. Anyone doing a handheld video game system of any kind from this point on should have 320x240 at the very least. That way, they could at least do one-to-one pixel conversions of many games from the late 1970's up until the early 1990's. 300x200 is still too low even for games like Pac-Man, Galaxian, or Centipede.

    Of course, with the Sony PSP having 480x272 resolution, and the Tapwave Helix going even higher at 480x320, then Nintendo should be aiming for something at least comparable in their next handheld.

  6. At least 300x200, eh? 320x240 is what I'm hoping he really means. I'd like to see some Neo-Geo and Taito F3 conversions go on the next GBA. Elevator Action II and Layer Section to go, anyone?
