Tomball College - fall 96 - spring 97. Tomball, TX. Community college. Got the basics out of the way before deciding where to go.
University of Oklahoma - fall 97 - fall 99. Norman, OK. Basically wanted to get as far away from home as possible. Lost motivation and flunked out of some courses.
University of Houston - Main - spring 2000 - spring 2001. Houston, TX. Parents calmed down. Started sorting out academic problems. Business college didn't like my academic record, wouldn't let me in. Their MIS program sucked anyway.
University of Houston - Downtown - fall 2001 - summer 2003. Houston, TX. Lower entry requirements, but has a better (nationally recognized, even) MIS (CIS) program than the Main campus. Graduated with above a 3.0 GPA and a BA in CIS.

I have a cousin, who used to ride the crotch rockets. He got ran over in a shopping center parking lot and was in a coma for about a month. He decided to give the motorcycle one more chance and was ran off the hiway by a motor vehicle. He ended up in the hospital with another coma. He has since given up on motorcycles.
Anyways, I have an Associates Degree in Electronics, from Devry Pheonix. I've been a Network/telephone systems installer ever since. The pay is pretty good and I've seen just about every state in the US, but I sure as hell had to work my ass off to get the degree. I worked 40 hours a week and about 25 hours a week in classes. I was one worn out student.
yeah, i have a friend that just a few months ago crashed cause the car in front of him slammed on their breaks, he flew off his bike, landed on the on-coming lane, and got ran over. luckily he only broke his arm. he's done with bikes.
me on the other hand, have not had my own bike yet, just ridden and have had way too much fun for it to not change my life. i know what im getting myself into, clearly i feel it's worth the risk. still, come my first accident, im done. like i said, all i can do is hope for the best.
I haven't graduated yet (pretty far from it actually). Trying for BBA Entrepreneurship and Strategic Management at the University of North Texas.
I figure I'll be done somewhere around 2006, when the economy's not all screwed up. My friends graduating now are having some pretty tough times finding jobs.![]()
