Well, I cant wait till next Tuesday either. I really excited about RE, and finally my Cube will get the attention that it deserves.
As everyone knows, I'm a biggest DMC nut around this parts, beating every mode, finding all secrets and stuff. But DMC and RE are quite different games, and cant be compared. DMC is fast action game, wherether RE is a slow survival horror. One is action packed, another relys on scares and atmoshpere. I dont see no problem with RE control layout, never had, but many people do dont like it. If Capcom decided you use DMC control scheme in new RE games, it would work out great IMO, minus jump button, as everyone knows RE heroes cant jump![]()

its the white thing. The only black man in the game could jump but not high enough from the crows. And we all know what happens to black men in horror movies. POOR POOR guy.

Um, you bought a guide for an RE game before it came out? Do you really think you'll need it?On a side note, the offical guides came in today at my EB.
I really don't like this "new" (yeah, it's a few years old, I guess) trend of guides for EVERY FREAKING GAME that comes out. If a game ever NEEDS a guide to be played, then there is something very flawed in its execution. If the player uses a guide to get through a game without trying first, then (IMHO) the majority of the enjoyment and satisfaction regarding said game is lost. It's like watching a movie with someone who keeps telling you what's about to happen.
Now, buying a game to replay a game, like an RPG, in order to collect all the items, secrets, etc., is OK. I dunno. I hate guides now. I hate the way that people are shocked when they hear I beat a game without the guide. Know how I did it? Here's my secret! I'm not a goddamned retard!
Jeez.

The new EGM loves it. The extra stuff in the game sounds cool as hell. I can't wait to play the mode where Forest is coming at you covered in Grenades! The Crimson zombies sound cool too.

True enough, but if it's a guide by Versus(I'd say Gamefan guides if they were still around too) I'd buy it for a really good game because they load that shit up with tons of artwork. I mean, look at Versus' Street Fighter Alpha 2 guide. The whole 2nd half was basically an artbook. Lovely.
