Ever have someone you know become famous?

I don't think he's a household name or anything but the singer Michael Buble was in my classes in high school. Now I see the guy on TV and in magazines. He sung at the frickin' Super Bowl and I think he was on Leno recently.

Has this happened to anyone else?

My sister's friend Rodney played David Cassidy in that Patridge Family mini-series a couple years ago. Dunno what he's been into since then, but he's still in Hollywood doing something or other.

semi famous.one guy i knew, but was not friends with plays for the bengals, Artrell hawkins, but we really werent friends per se.
also a physics prof i knew, but never took classes with David wiley, occasionally pops up on leno as the"mad Scientist" but again,never took physics.

My mom went to school at some time (forget when) with that crazy informercial guy that wears the wild suits and sells books on how to get free money from the government.

I wanna say she went to school also with a game show host, but I forget which one, and if it is even correct.
