Thread: Most under-rated game of this generation?

  1. #61
Easier to get back and forth between tracks due to the tube. Non quantized freestyling. Feels more like you are creating music and not just pushing up faders.

Oh yeah, more enjoyable remix mode.

  2. Sly Cooper PS2
    ICO PS2
    Mark of Kri PS2
    Super Monkey Ball GCN
    Klonoa 2 PS2
    Klonoa GBA
I guess you've learned the benifit to waiting.
I agree, they should give people like you something. Perhaps a kick in the balls would do nicely and make you slightly less retarded.

excellent reasons, all. i feel the same way, especially about the faders. one nice thing about the sequel, though, is that harmonix included a code that will turn the playfield into a tube.

  4. Skygunner PS2
Ace Combat 4 PS2 + Hori Flight Stick = Bad to the bone.

Does Namco's version have online play? Just curious as I've never seen it.

  6. I'd have to pick REZ. While it is a rather short game, the scoring system and excellent soundtrack make this game enjoyable everytime I play it.

Air Force Delta. I have'nt played the Xbox version and it defineatly was overlooked on that format, but the DC rev was an excellent arcade style flight combat game.

    nope.

i guess that makes all the difference right?

Yeah, except the tube still functions like the flat track. You can't go completely around, i.e. you can't go over from the last track to the first track, you have to scroll all the way back around just like you were playing the flat playfield.

    yeah, except for GT3

Goddamn fucking right. If any game deserved to sell more or get more credit, this was it. Without a doubt one of the best games I've ever played in my 15 years of gaming.

seriously? ugh. i was just about to try the code myself.. alright, frequency is officially > amplitude.

  10. I really liked both Frequency and Amplitude, but after playing the sequel I tried going back and playing the first game and it just wasn't as fun. I think the user-friendliness of Amplitude made it harder for me to go back and enjoy frequency.
