So what's the official day? Are we all meeting outside the convention center after E3 and find a place to eat afterwards?

In the E3 daily there is a map and a list of booths and such, as well as tons of ads and a few short articles about games at the show. you should see hundreds of these dailies in the front hall when you walk in.

No. They blindfold you, take you out into the middle of the show floor, and then spin your around several times before taking off the blindfold and letting you loose.
