you guys should try to grab this a.s.a.p, it's easily available off of fileshack.com and or fileplanet.com

the first mod i've seen with the abiltity to do flips and dive, while having the added bonus of slow mo(like the matrix) that works. powerups are dropped in(inf ammo,low grav,slowmo,pause,etc) that can be used for a specific time(i.e..3-5 seconds at the most), there is a team option(you can have up to 6 teams on a server) and it's just a fast pace badass game that's a blast to play.

you'll prolly see me online(name will be in all caps, have some retard saying like USED_VAGINAL_SECRETIONS or somethin...and i'll have the top score), and if you do; say whassup.

YES! The Specialist is the god-damn shit. My favorite HL mod, second to Vampire Slayer.

Wow a good new HL mod? i'll definitely have to check this out. The last one I played and thoroughly enjoyed was Day of Defeat.

So... has anyone played Beta 2? It's easily my favorite HL mod now. They added so much good stuff.

They need to tone down the knives though, like real bad.

Finally got it working. Played a bit yesterday, ran into SXA. He' pretty good.

The thing that gets me though is that every other game I seem to get this strange, strange lag. Even with a ping in the 50's, I'd be stuttering around everywhere, and usually need to disconnect and retry. Other than that, badass mod.

Its buggy and incomplete, but they have some great ideas and stuff.

The Half Life engine isnt powerfull enough for the bold stuff they are trying to pull off here..

Yeah, there are some strange bugs here and there (weaponless rounds, for one), but outside of that, what was so terrible about it?

The graphics were choppy as fuck, the whole thing seemed like some rushed, thrown together mess...

Collision detection sucked..

Not one thing about the game said polished..

Day of Defeat is still by far the best HL mod, next to Front Line Force. Was never a fan of team deathmatch HL mods. The whole teamwork aspect of the 2 mods I mentioned are by far the best. Some also say Natural Selection is up there too, but I have yet to sit down a play it enough to justify myself.
