Thread: Great Famicom B-day Feature

  1. Great Famicom B-day Feature

    Head over to:

And read the massive, excellent Fami feature by two regular TNL posters, Ferricide and BenT. It's a nice read.

    Good show, lads.

  3. Props to Bent and Ferricide for such a well-written feature. Can't wait to see the rest of it.

BTW, did you guys know you could used the Famicom Microphone in the JPN Super Dodge Ball, you could scare the shit out of Kunio in the main menu screen?

  4. Nice job, guys. Forget Atari. As far as I'm concerned, the Famicom/NES built the console game industry.

  5. Interesting article. Reading it right now.

Ditto here. The NES pretty much set the basic standards for all future consoles. Atari is overrated.

  8. Thanks, guys. I hope you all enjoy our little labor of love. The last (?) part just went live.

    That's awesome.

    Alright, bedtime!

Came up while I was reading. Nicely done.

I used to play Gyromite all the time and the constant putdowns angered me greatly.

You guys are missing out on a lot if your history of videogames starts at the NES.
