Vivendi has released 13 new screenshots for their MMORPG, World of Warcraft, showing off a nice villa in Kalidar, home of the Night Elves:

World of Warcraft, the MMORPG based on the imaginative universe/money-grubbing franchise created by Blizzard, will be released June 2004.

This has the potential to be the greatest MMORPG yet. I've read some interviews by blizzard, and the ideas going into this project are spot-on. As far as I'm concerned, Blizzard proper has yet to release a bad game...in fact, they've all been superior in just about every regard. With that record, I see reason not to expect this one to break the mold of stuffy, mired-down MMORPGs.

"Money-grubbing" sounds a bit like a personal bias to me. Blizzard puts out quite a bit of money for their excellent games, cgs, and battle.net servers. They get what they deserve.
