The stuff we've been able to do with vB3 so far has been worth the upgrade, now that we've gotten the bugs sorted out. Except some of the improvements to start showing up on the board as soon as Nick can approve them.

Because it's dead sexy. Besides that, it's faster, has more features than vb2.x, and includes a hack necessary for search websites to index the forums properly.
