Anybody else going to the Comic Market 64? This is a big bi-annual for-fan, by-fan manga/anime/character convention held in Tokyo, Japan. The last one was Comic Market 63, held on December 2002, with a crowd of over 150,000 attendees each of the 3 days.

This year it will be held at the Tokyo Big Sight [sic] on the edge of Tokyo Bay, on August 15th, 16th, and 17th (Fri, Sat, Sun). Cosplay in the swealtering heat, tens of thousands of fans fanning themselves cool, anime/manga fan funk, paper as far as the eye can see, hour lines for waiting for trinkets, seiyuu signings, wacky merchandise, goods galore. And free to enter, you just have to wait 2 hours...

Here is the official home page: http://www.comiket.co.jp/

I, for one, will be looking for more "A Little Snow Fairy, Sugar" doujinshi and fan-made PC shooting games.

See you there!
