Thread: What is this most time you've spent on one game?

    Fucking sick...
How? I couldn't even play that game twice. I did max out the time counter until I stopped though.

I don't need that kind of stress and aggravation.

dog$, is that 300 hours in DWVII I see in that image? How do you spend that much time? Maxing out all the character classes? Even the monster ones? I made only one of my characters into a Teen Idol and even that was a bit of a bitch. At 95 hours I was glad to be done with that game (even though I liked it). I can't even imagine another 200 hours tacked on.

My record is prolly for Street Fighter II in the arcades. 100s of hours. I lived that game for about a year.

[edit]: actually, wait. I did spend the estimated thirty or so hours it takes to get *every single* triple-triad card in VIII. that was harsh. so i guess that's when i learned my lesson, not after the chocobo torture in VII.
The Knight of the round summon spell was worth it though. The weapons would be pretty damn hard without it.

  2. I think more impressive (read: scary) than 88mph playing that much FFVII is Saffran playing FFVIII for two-thousand hours. I cannot fathom this, unless you live in a place with a lot of electrical storms or something. Just saying.

  3. Wow, you guys spend way too much time playing video games, hehehehe. Anyway, I spent about 96 hours playing FFX, I got 3 of the 7 ultimate weapons, I found trying to get Lulu's or Kimarhi's ultimate weapons were impossible. I was going to stat max, but realized it would take me about 150+ to do it, and did really feel like spending anymore time on that game.
The Wreck is going down, get out before you drown...

  4. I am posting this while playing Shadowbane. For the past 4 months, I have played this nearly everyday for at least 8 hours. At my old job, I played it while I worked. It's been more than 200 hours.

Morrowind might have been 500 hours.

I actually played Halo and Crazy Taxi (the first one) for 100 or so and 40 some hours playing and replaying Panzer Dragoon Orta.

Quake 3 however - has been incalulable. I'm sure the numbers are astronomic.

There's more - but it makes it seem like gaming is all I do.
    o_O

The game was so much fun without Knights of the Round Table... Ruby was tough though. I had to max out about every attribute before doing this.

Had a purple time within the first month -> played about 20 hours a day.
When I play, I play, and nothing else. Scrapped 300 hours on Shining Force 3 in one month, all the while playing Xenogears for another 96 hours. (the Saturn had to cool off after 15 hours or so)
I don't play that much anymore though.

FFVIII was the best PSX era FF IMO opinion though. I played that game twice atleast.

  7. 70 some on FFVII and IX.

Stop now while you still can. MMORPGs are a disease. There should be a 12 step program for them.

  9. PSO ver 1&2, 600 hours and counting.
Right, because if anything validates the existance of a handheld piece of shit, it's taking those shitty handheld games and placing them on a screen big enough so that the inherent flaws of the software is visible to all humans. Including Ray Charles.

Am I the only one who got my fill of PSO after about 25 hours of play? I played through Episodes I & II, got a couple of levels into hard mode, and realized that from here on out I would be listening to pre-pubescent kids screaming for "TEH RAREZ" constantly while playing through the same levels over and over and occassionally finding a cool item. Cool game, but I don't understand why you'd pour six hundred hours of your life into it.
