Wow, Smilebit was merged out of existence. Overworks at least got to keep half their name.

Smilebit + Amusement Vision (smaller portion) = Smilebit

So, Amusement is split into a large and small part, to be a part of two separate teams?

Oh, and I love Over-wow! I hope it sticks. I hate "Cinematic Online Games".. sounds as bad as "Rockstar". Why didn't they just call themselves "Electronic Entertainment"? If you're gonna be generic, go all the way.. And does cinematic mean we're going to get more Shenmue-type games?

I'm curious on how this is going to end up. AV was mostly on the GC and Smilebit avoided the GC completely. It'll be interesting to see what kind of games come out of them.

Shenmue online would rock like crazy. Walking around and challenging people to fights or arm wrestling while talking shit would be fun as hell. Gambling with other people would be fun as hell too. Heck, you might be able to go to the arcade and challenge someone to VF1 or something, or just start a fight and trash the arcade. Maybe walk into a bar and start a fight as well.

Unless it's like RE online, then it might suck. Survival horror would be lame online. Your partner would probably piss you off like crazy if yout ry to finish the game.
