If I had to reccomend one thing to you Metal_Slug, it would be Castle of Cagliostro, Miyazakis finest action film.

Any reason why you recommend this title in particular? Is it all action? I think I could use a nice strictly action anime...

1-Spike from Bebop is "inspired" by Lupin the Third. His attitude and dress are similiar.
2-Its a Miyazaki film, it is greatness.
3-Its from 1979 (I think), but the animation and art is great, there is nothing lacking in its (charming) presentation.
4-The DVD does justice to the film, it looks great and it has the original japanese language track (which is really good, the japanese actors sound crazy).
5-There is a quote on the box reading something like, "One of the greatest action movies ever"-Steven Speilberg.

Know that it is a movie based upon a series, and that there were also other movies made. That way, when some people show up, you won't be scratching you head going, "how do they know each other?". It doesn't matter though, I haven't seen any of the series or other movies, and I have a full grasp of who the characters are.
