Why don't we add a TNL chat.

Some other boards have a chat where you can just click, and it pops up, you sign in and boom. Example- the board here.

How hard/plausible would it be to add a feature like this to the board? It'd be much more accessible and I bet it'd get more use than irc.

Couldn't it be set up so that users could use Java or IRC to connect to the same server? This way everyone would be happy.

For the record, I agree with people who dislike Java. I think it's awful. Long live mIRC.

Well, I was checking out the PHP chat I linked to, but I don't like the strain it might place on the server. A Java chat might be a better solution.

Maybe I'll just copy Neomega's setup.

Why not just make a IRC channel somewhere and have everyone connect via mIRC or something? Seems a whole lot easier that way.
