...so its a game store within a video rental store?
Has anyone heard of these new game exclusive stores that have been opening up inside of Hollywood Video? One just appeared in my local H.V. and up until that point, I had never heard of them.
For those of you that have been to one, what was your experience with them? Are they pretty good or do they suck? I didnt get to check it out that much because they were still getting all the product in and they hadnt quite finished setting up the store and opening yet.

I shoulda elaborated a bit more.
Basically, its kinda like Zappers used to be in old Video Factory's. I dunno how wide spread those places were though (not sure if it wasnt just a Western NY thing).
Basically the jist of it is this: The took a section out of hollywood video, and put a wall around it. It has its own front door and everything. They are just getting around paying rent on the place by putting them "inside" of Hollywood Video.
Old news. They suck. Use the search feature to find the old thread about said chain.

Yeah, I went to one up here off of Transit road in Depew...it's actually not bad, I found Crash Team Racing and N2O for PSX for $1.99 each.
A lot of the second-hand stuff seems to be missing boxes and manuals for whatever reason (even CD/DVD games), but they do have a nice selection of older stuff (NES, SNES, Genesis, etc) and it's generally priced fairly.
The staff seems hit-or-miss...some know their stuff and seem like gamers and others just try to push membership cards and Xbox speaker sets on you.
It's worth a look, I'd say.
A GC opened near me a couple of weeks ago, and lacked anything past the PSX in terms of games. There were some rare DC gems, like Project Justice, but most lacked their jewel cases and the like. The prices on Xbox stuff were low, $25 was about the average price for Xbox games.

I've found multiple copies of Klonoa there for $14.99 a pop. Ex rentals it seems.
there's a few hollywood videos near me, thanks for the heads up.
One good thing going for Game Crazy is that the used stuff (even the older stuff) is arranged in cases or in shelves behind the counter, rather than the bins at Funco that look as if a cow took a shit in them.
They also tend to have a generous number of kiosks. Prices may be a hair higher than Funco but it depends on the game. Worth a look if you have one local but I wouldn't go out of my way.
