There was a Garfield game for Game Gear. I don't think there was an SMS port of it. I think it's a downgraded version of the Genesis/PC game.
Wasnt there a Garfield SMS game too?
That HAS to suck.

The "Great" sports games were weak, weaker than anything put forward on NES and add to the fact that you needed a special pad to play the football game was absurd (other sports games from its time needed nothing of the sort and played better than "Great" Football and Baseball even when you had the controller for them).
Survey says: Great Base/Football sucks.

What was this special controller that you mention?

The music was so much better in the Space Harrier SMS port than in the Arcade... and there was a code for the Sound Test and to turn into a jet. It rocked.
Yes, Miracle Warriors rocked, even though I was never able to find the last piece for Medea.
What's with Aztec Adventure? I couldn't find a way to destroy that huge bat boss on the second level.
This was, of course, when I was in 3rd or fourth grade, btw
Your llamas will be calm under most circumstances. Grouse flying up from under the feet will unglue the calmest llama
Post-college, pumpkin-defenestrating, tricycle racing angst. Whoosh.
Called the sports pad, it's a Trackball style controller and it didn't work particularly well. Mind you all I am a HUGE Mark III fan (I know I am a nerd for calling it that, but Master System doesn't sound right to me) but those games and a few others were crap. The great majority of the systems library is very nice though.
Oh, and I also didn't like Global Defence.
EDIT: "Power Ball" I think it's called? Not sure.

I lost the map to Miracle Warriors, as such, I've never been able to find your last companion. I really wanted to beat this game, too.![]()
The Bat Boss in Aztec Adventure was sort of tricky, but
involved, hacking then moving, repeat. The Bosses reapear
later in the game, but the final boss and ending, which was
something that was real special is worth the effort.
I remember Cyborg Hunter being a big pile of dung when I bought it (no wonder Sega didn't want to release it...Activision did the duties for this one). I enjoyed Great Baseball at the time as well...can't speak for the rest of the line (I was too busy with 10 Yard Fight and Bases Loaded on the NES)
Also give up some love for The Ninja which was my favorite card game by far. We played this at my friend Will's house for hours. Good stuff!
Actually Sega did release it but their version is less common than Activision's. Sega's package used the standard white instead of Activision's black.(no wonder Sega didn't want to release it...Activision did the duties for this one).
