Fzero GX vs. Soul Calibur 2

I'm just attempting to give these hotly competing games a fair and balanced comparison. As I was saying, F-Zero GX shits all over Soul Calibur 2 when it comes to high-speed cornering, but SC2's 8-Way Run system profers it an edge when it comes to things like strategic throw avoidance and setting up for ring-outs.

It should also be pointed out that those looking to perform a Summon Suffering will want to go with SC2. F-Zero GX does not have an equivalent maneuver, though its turbo-boosts and speed arrows are fun in their own way. It depends what you're looking for.

More analysis later. I need to work on my Captain Falcon X Voldo slash fanfic.

The problem here is balance. After all, no one in SC2 can outrun the Ta-Ta girls (Taki and Talim), while the limited movelists in F-Zero GX are all sorts of wack.

Name aside, I don't think Talim has what it takes to qualify as one of the "Ta-Ta" girls.

There are some Action Replay/Gameshark codes for the Japanese version that help this situation a bit. I don't know if they work on the US version, though. You can find them here.

Interesting, but it was more an off-color comment in response to Mech's use of the term "Ta-ta's."

If I could only have one it would be SC2. Theres just more depth and longetivity in it than F-Zero. And racing ALWAYS gets old faster than a multiplayer fighter. IMO.

But since I have both it really doesnt matter now does it?

Why do you even bother to make these threads if you're so absolutely biased in the first place? I think you just got proven wrong in your "Is SC2 the sequel it should be" thread, so you need to set up some other thread to prove its inferiority. -even when the setup is totally without merit.

"FZero GX is the greatest racing game ever made"? -Wow, that's objective.
