Midway announces a multi-platform agreement to produce games based on the Justice League of America.

I remember the Justice League of America before it made its latest debut on the airwaves, back when it was on ABC, under the label "Super Friends". Yup...a Saturday didn't go by without sitting in front of the T.V. set, with a bowl of cereal as I awaited the latest adventures of Superman and co. to show evildoers what's up...

Now the JLA is about to make their debut on all major platforms, including the Game Boy Advance later this year. Featuring the classic JLA team, including Batman, Superman, The Flash, Wonder Woman and many more, the JLA games are expected to be an instant hit with fans of the animated series and comic book adapations.

"Midway is the perfect choice for developing the Justice League into a gaming franchise that will bring our super heroes to life like never before," said John Nee, Vice President of Business Development, DC Comics. "The creativity, experience and knowledge between both companies are of super-heroic proportions. Stellar videogames for next-generation video consoles are a guarantee."

We'll dig up some more dirt on the upcoming games when we chat it up with Midway at E3 next month!
