Thread: Dinosaurs for Hire

  1. Opa Walking Dinosaurs for Hire

Back in the day, there was a game called Dinosaurs for Hire listed on the back of the Genesis (2) boxes.

I have never seen a copy of this game, to say nothing of playing it. I believe it was based on a comic book of the same name...

Anyone ever play this one? How is it?

  2. I've only played it via emulation, and it seems like your average run and gun game, nothing too exciting. I'd buy it cheap, but I wouldn't go out of my way to get it.

  3. My local game store has it for $2

  4. It was based on a Malibu comic of the same name. The comic basically sucked, and the game is nothing too special. If you see it for $2 as stated above, it certainly is a decent time waster.

  5. I remember having fun with it when it first came out as a rental, but from the looks of it, it's a memory I don't want to disturb by picking it up present day.
I remember some pretty cool bosses being in it, and a cool opening stage where you're scaling a building and fighting one of those huge genesis bosses comprised of a bunch of balls.

  6. I thought that it was shitty and extremely boring.
