Thread: Super Hucard Released (75-in-1 TG16 CDROM)

  1. Super Hucard Released (75-in-1 TG16 CDROM)

Dunno if the mods will mind me posting this, but Zeo (the HUGO! emu writer) released a 75-in-1 Game SCD-ROM2 image. I'm sure there's a few TG16/PCE fans around that would like to check it out. Basically, a compilation of Hucards made playable thru a menu system all on a CD. I tested it on my TurboDuo and found it to work great, so it's the real thing unlike the phony ones that've been going around on ebay.

  2. Wow, thanks for the heads up! Looks like I'll be hooking my PC Engine back up today.

  3. thats funny that they can do that with the turbo but so far its been proved impossible to play genny/megadrive games on a cd with your sega/mega cd. cool shit i must say. wolfie, send me a link via pm please.

  4. Yeah, but only with 256kb Hucards or smaller due to ram size... Bigger Hucards would require memory remapping and I'm told it would be a nightmare to handle all that.

  5. ahh thats true. that IS the reason they cant get genny games to work. totally forgot about that.

  6. Can you please PM me the link to this, NightWolve?

  7. Please keep requests for this to PM only. No more posts here asking for it, please.

The arcade card has 16 megabits, more than most HuCards (only SF2CE wouldn't work with that AFAIK). I'm sure the AC card is hard to find however.

Sega CD has only 6 Megabits of RAM, so there aren't many that would work with that.

    Finished in 2021: 8 games (PC: 4, PS4: 2, PS3: 1, X1: 1)

  9. When it was up, the link didn't even work...

That's true, but there's still remapping that would be required. You'd have to rewrite the game to work with AC memory, or just work off the CD to load segments of game as it progresses (avoiding the need for an ACD). All heavy duty tasks I'm told, so you'll probably never see that happen .
