Castlevania: Whips Vs. Swords

My first Castlevania experiance was Simons Quest so I have to go with whips. I remember it took me forever to get the flame whip as a kid.

I was a Genesis kid, I've onlyed played Castlevania 4 a few times in my life.

What about the last sword that Soma finds, the Claimh Solais? That thing was huge, with easily the same range, if not more, as a whip. Plus that super-wide arc it swung in made it easy to hit just about anything. I love that sword.

Agree, That sword had exreme range, and fast swing too. That powerful spear(damn, I forgot the name), had a great range as well, but you only attacked in the straigh motion forward.
