Simpsons Hit and Run *official*

I figured I'd make a thread for this game. I'm not sure how much hype this is getting but for some reason I'm interested in the game. Its getting pretty good reviews across the board. I watched a few videos for it and it seems like fun. Hell, I just want a new game and romping through Springfield as Homer GrandTheft Auto style seems like fun. Theres no guns though but the appeal of running over Ralphy is just too much. Theres not a damn thing coming out next week so I may be buying this. What do you guys think?

I might snag myself a copy of it. It looks to be the best Simpsons game ever, so I'm excited about it. Hopefully the game's quality will at least match the excitement.

At least in all the videos I watched the voice work seemed REALLY well done.

I just need to be able to run Ralphy over with a car................. "He's gunna smell like hotdogs."

I don't see the point of a Simpsons GTA clone. I mean, you're not going around jacking cars and killing cops and such...are you?

Jacking cars, yes. Killing cops, I don't know. I know that you do get chased around by Springfeilds finest.

Rental at best for me. Supposed to be shorter than GTA3 / Vice City, which only lasted me ten hours each and also made me sort of sick of that mode of gameplay at the same time. Besides, the character models in this are incredibly ugly even for characters who were ugly to begin with.

Only played GTA3 or VC for ten hours:
Strike 1

Got sick of the great gameplay without even really playing the game:
Strike 2

Dissing Simpsons Character designs, calling them (ugly):
Strike 3 to the chances of us ever agreeing on anything.

I would have to completely and utterly disagree with you sir.
