Government should be for the people. It should not be an oligarchy where a few people make certain laws and we cannot do dick about them. We can vote said people out of office, but the damage is done if the law is passed in the meantime. Repeal is possible, but the law is still in force in the time it takes for that process.
As it is now- democracy, my ass.
If a public review law existed, 1984ish laws like the DMCA would be either eliminated or adjusted for fairness' sake- since they're naturally unpopular.
