Whoo hooo!
At this years annual Amusement Machine trade show, a rather large announcement was revealed by Sammy -- They are in collaboration with Capcom to create a new crossover game on the Atomiswave arcade platform tentatively titled Sammy vs. Capcom. Also, Sammy has said they will be allowing use of the Atomiswave platform for SNK/Playmore to release an upcoming King of Fighters game. Sammy has also unveiled plans for AW-NET, a memory-card system very similar to Sega's VF.Net service where a person can save data from various AW-NET enabled games to a plastic card.
Whoo hooo!
"If you aren't a bit depressed, then you aren't paying attention to what's going on in the world - Get busy living or get busy dieing."
...could this mean more cooperation between Capcom and SNK as well?
Here's hoping
Sammy Vs. Capcom? Awesome. Capcom working on a fighting game, whatever it may be, is good news.
KoF on Atomiswave? Thank the lord. I'm sure that a bunch of Neo pricks might be a bit angry, though.![]()
Who cares. Love the games... not the system.Originally Posted by Tain

Magic Box would be wrong. It's actually a collaboration between the two companies. I forget their names, but a designer from both companies are serving as leads on the project.
If my memory of her has an expiration date, let it be 10,000 years.
No problems whatsoever with KOF going Atomiswave. I know some NGHC owners are going to blow a gasket over not getting the home version of KOF2003, but it's time to move up.
Garou 2 should be made for the AW also.![]()
