Thread: What Cell Phone Do You Carry?

My Droid Incredible 2 has HTC Sense, I believe. How does this remote locking thing work?

Battery life is pretty poor and lasts a day/day and a half, but I'm near a charger either at work or at home, so it rarely ever dies.
Average for pretty much any phone nowadays. With a car charger it's never really an issue for me.

  2. That and access to a usb port at all times

Evo 3D arrived in the work mail today, I'll have to get used to all the bonus features since I am a phone noob and used to a nextel.

Menus are in the same place, I've found everything where it was before so it's very familiar. It doesn't get in the way and it certainly isn't hogging resources. It's got 5 homescreens, instead of scrolling down in the app drawer, you go left and right. There's a widget that lets you pin your 4 most used contacts to the home screen, swipe down on it and it expand to show 20 if them (shown by their contact picture and name right below it. Some other slightly different things like a new weather widget, one from VRZ that lets you see how much data/txts you've used easily.

Another plus: First time I've gotten a new phone and uses the same exact charges for it, which rules. Mini USB. Other thing I forgot to mention is that the speaker doesn't seem as loud or clear (but phone call quality is fantastic, blue tooth too).
All new phones are micro-USB's. It was discussed all over the web that manufacturers have agreed on a universal port for charging. I'm using USB cables from my Blackberry to charge my HTC Thunderbolt and my wifes Droid X2 as well as using a Blackberry wall charger. I'm even using a car charger from a old Motorola phone.

Its exactly as its says. Just swipe your fingers from letter to letter on the touch screen and it will automatically choose the word. No more typing. I think its available for BB's with touch screen but I dont hear much about it

Using Swype and replying to a text or email with only my thumb is awesome!

  5. I'm surprised to hear how well that works. Dude's finger covers like 6 letters at a time.

  6. What about punctuation?

  7. What about double letters?

  8. I hate swype. Tried to get used to it for about a month when I got my Droid X and I can type about twice as fast with both thumbs as long as I'm holding my phone horizontal.
