What Are You Reading?

I finally finished A Feast for Crows. Can anyone recommend another fantasy or sci-fi series of such high quality? I've read all of Gene Wolfe already.

While nothing I've read is as good as either of those, give R. Scott Bakker's The Prince of Nothing series a try. The first book is truly excellent, with some outstanding writing. The quality drops off in the second and third books though.

Finished Blood Meridian. It was tough going at first, but it really came into its own and became jawesome.

I just started Horns today. Can't put it down. Fucking awesome.

Finished Way of the Kings, a promising start from Brandon Sanderson's 10 books epic.

Picked up Ravanor. Loving it so far. not that far in, only a 100 pages or so, but i likes it alot. I was reading some reviews and people seemed to have problems with Gideon kind of sitting back and letting his people do most of the wet work. I personally dont mind that as 2 of my favorite characters from the previous books, Harlon Nayl and Kara Swole do alot of the dirt. And Patience Kys quickly becoming another fave. I really like this book.

Picked Slapstick off my shelf on the way into the bathroom and am totally rereading it. Forgot how good it was.

Started reading the Stand again for funsies. Man, the first 1/3rd of this book is really, really good. Too bad it gets so dumb.

half way through ravenor. I like it better than eisenhorn. he seems to actually care about his people. some of the shit going down ia very cool. Wynston Frauka has turned into a cool ass character
