I picked up the first Kino No Tabi book which the Kino's Journey anime is based off of. It's short and an easy read but it's really good. If you like the anime it's worth checking out.

I barely have enough time for reading though...I manage to keep myself occupied with other things and just read a chapter or two before I crash for the night. That being, said I will look into those...since I still have 2+ months here.

Just picked up The Essential Ellison-A 50 Year Retrospective.
One of the most outspoken Speculative Fiction writers around. Wrote one of (if not the) best Star Trek episodes (City on the Edge of Forever) and a literal shit ton of short stories. Great stuff.
