In the middle of my trash Stephen King phase right now, reading "From a Buick 8." A totally weird cross of Shawshank Redemption like presentation and Langolier's like Sci-Fi.

I'm about 2/3rds through Cormac McCarthy's "The Road." I like the bleak imagery and the mystery as to what caused all of the chaos, but the actual plot is pretty slow and repetitive. That and McCarthy's trademark lack of punctuation save for periods make it hard to follow who is talking at times.
